Sr Mgr, Program Manager

OVERVIEW

We are currently searching for a skilled professional to join a well-known client’s team as a remote Program Manager out of Crestwood, Kentucky. This role will support the Nephrology Systemic Program team and Lead by ensuring delivery of tasks and deliverables executed with both internal and external partners according to program specifications including budget, timelines, and scope. Their work will have a direct impact on the organization and the larger clinical industry, making this an amazing career opportunity.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Program/Project Manager required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in clinical research, healthcare or life science setting required
  • Strong experience working in Clinical Operations in pharma/biotech preferred
  • Demonstrated successful delivery of large multi-year programs/projects with cross-functional groups and external vendors
  • Good ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Excellent familiarity with Data Privacy and Integrity laws and best practices preferred
  • Detailed skills in Microsoft Smartsheet and Teams skills preferred

EDUCATION

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in core science, healthcare, or business administration with prior project management experience required
  • PMP certification desired

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and maintain up-to-date program timelines including all critical milestones, deliverables, action items, budget, and key interdependencies
  • Ensure the timely execution of the plan while proposing tradeoffs for scope, timeline, and budget
  • Identify and escalate risks/issues in real-time to program team and lead and enable risk-mitigation solutions to help offset risk
  • Escalate any non-program issues to PMO Head when appropriate to assist in resolving issues and moving the business onward
  • Develop agendas for InT meetings, collect pre-reads, moderate meeting, and distribute meeting minutes
  • Create and track program-based KPIs to help define program success, communicate with leaders, and enable continuous improvements in program lifecycle management
  • Act as a pillar of communication excellence across sub and working teams back to program team
  • Adopt/learn PMO tools and templates for operational and business support excellence including dashboard reporting
  • Track individual KPIs to ensure personal success in role
  • Maintain program plans or working projects under your purview
  • Oversee program team deliverables through tracking of action items, monitoring of timelines, and deliverables’ receipt
  • Escalate noted issues to program lead and team or PMO Head for solving
  • Assist in closing out escalated issues with team or external vendors
  • Deliver timely program KPIs and dashboard including business analytics to leaders
  • Track program to assigned budget of forecast vs. actuals
